To support 1.0 client you need the latest dev release. The stable release is only good for older (0.14.0) client.

Well here's the thing. If I connect on PE on my phone, the console says 1/20 people are online. If I type /list, it says 0 players online. On my phone, it gets stuck at the "dirt" loading screen...I've run a full minecraft server for almost 5 years and I can't figure out why I can't connect to this one lol.

Are you able to connect locally, on your own network? This would at least tell you if it's an issue with port forwarding or an issue with the server/server computer itself.

I can set up the server, but no one can connect. I have forwarded the port for the server...i know this isn't much info, but any idea? Can you not play these servers on the 1.0 version of PE?

I'm running a shutdown system called mopUPS. I have two windows servers and a linux server. I created a batch file for the windows servers then i used plink to configure a command for the linux machine and then added the linux command to the batch file. Whenever i run the batch file by itself it works perfectly. But whenever i put the batch file into mopUPS command line it only runs the two windows commands and it gets caught on the plink command..... Any suggestions?

I don't know what start "Minecraft" Minecraft.exe means but wouldn't it be much simpler to just use this code:

set APPDATA=%CD%
start %CD%\minecraft.exe

and also you don't have to create a folder called data just a folder were you want to play Minecraft in this code but if you want to make it fancier you can do this:

@echo off
Title Minecraft Launcher
color b
echo Starting Minecraft
set APPDATA=%CD%\
start %CD%\minecraft.exe

You can change the title and what it echoes to what ever you want.

uh yes it is definetely possible. it is very complicated and invloves sshing into your idevice and it has to be jailbroken. youll also need ifile installed (for iphone, ipod, ipad only)

Should be even easier than getting it to run on Linux. Just download and install Java, then download and install McMyAdmin.

I am about to create a server on a WIndows Server not Linux with McMyAdmin and possibly tekkit, your tutorial is the best I have found but unfortunately I am dumbfounded by how to go about doing this on Windows instead of Linux

I am having the same problem. Both "technicians" I spoke with told me to purchase a new router. I purchased a new router/modem combination. I purchased the one the "technicians" recommended. It did NOTHING. Funny thing is I never, never, never had a problem when I was bundling @ a whopping $202.00 a month. Took a pay cut recently and had to find alternatives to some of my wants vs. needs. I honestly thought Comcast was a good, honest company.

Hi,
I have a real problem! My SD-card stoppt working while in the phone and wasn't even readable in cardreader. I tried several times and one day by chance I could copy the files to HDD, even the ext2 partitioned under UBUNTU.
I took a new SD card, partitioned and formatted it and put all the files back on it, but I still cannot user the apps although app2sd works and finds the partition.
PLUS I cannot run PLAY store, even if installed from apk it gets an error.
Can anybody please help me?

OK, great, and thanks for the speedy reply. I work for a wireless ISP in the uk. from time to time the access points become "stale", for want of a better word. was hoping to come up with a script that can be executed for a number of different ip addresses so I can configure each script to double click, login with ssh and send the reboot command without having to ssh into each one everytime. It gets a bit tedious when you have 50 or 60 access points......

Hey! I don't believe you can script Putty from a bat file but that's
what Plink is for. It's basically a command line version of Putty that
you can use in a batch script.
